LINE-UP - 01 DECEMBER - Dan Archer's Show!!!

It's Dan Archer's turn (073 055 0602) to run the show this
coming Monday, and, as is his habit, he's invited a cross-
section of musicians all of them crowd-pleasers! Here's what
Dan has to say about his invitees:

(1) ADAMU
He surely needs no introduction? He'll be kicking off the
evening at 8pm sharp as he has another gig and must leave at
8.30, but his gentle Afro-Latin acoustic folk style is always
well worth hearing and a good reason to be there early!

(2) FRACTURED
The Becker family's latest incarnation, whose last few
performances at the club polarized the audience neatly into
young rappers & old fogeys! However, they claim to be toning
things down of late, and are reverting to the original classical
rock style for which they were so popular at the club in earlier
times. The trio consists of Andy Becker on drums, brother Wade on
bass, & Ethan on guitar & they'll be joined by Dad, Adrian, for
part of their set.

(3) MIDDLE EARTH
They play a Celtic/Folk hybrid musical form, will be without their
percussionist & are experimenting with a drum kit, which should
be most curious!

(4) NICE
A newly formed light pop/rock trio headed by Matthew Fields, of
the award winning school band 'The Usual Suspects', on guitar &
vocals, Robin Brink, of 'The Business', on drums & Ross Dorkin on
bass. They've garnered a considerable following, for good reason,
so expect a packed evening – all the more reason to be there early
for a seat!

You realise, of course, that there are only five Mondays left in
the year! After much debate, the committee has decided that we'll
move the show on Monday 29th to the 31st ... and make it a real
New Years' Eve musical bash! So if you've not made any plans for
welcoming 2009, keep this option in mind and rest assured it will
be a cracker!
